2012 Season
Dixon played in 47 games, making 40 starts... started at least once in all three outfield positions but made 19 of his 40 starts at designated hitter... scored the game-winning run in the top of the ninth inning and caught the final out in center field in the Big Ten Tournament championship game victory against Indiana... had three hits and scored three times in the Big Ten regular-season clincher against Michigan... recorded four hits and two RBI against Cincinnati at the Big Ten/Big East Challenge, his first game of the season... had three hits in victories against Northwestern and Illinois that allowed the Boilers post weekend sweeps... registered three hits and two runs scored in the 14-inning win against Michigan State... started the NCAA Regional games against Valparaiso and Kent State in center field.

2011 Season
Dixon played in 49 games and started 22 times, making starts at all three outfield positions as well as designated hitter... made 12 of his starts in right field... started all three games of the Michigan State and Iowa series... appeared in a team-high 27 games off the bench... saw action in all three games of the Big East-Big Ten Challenge, Tennessee Tech, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois series as well as the Big Ten Tournament... ranked second on the team with six sacrifice bunts... collected five of his 20 RBIs with sac flies... reached base safely 44 percent of the time when leading off an inning... was a team-best 5-for-12 as a pinch hitter... with a runner on third and less than two outs, plated that runner in 13 of his 14 opportunities... posted an eight-game hitting streak from April 20 through May 7... rebounded from a slow start with a 6-for-13 showing, scoring five times during the early-season eight-game win streak... batted .297 with four free passes and eight runs scored in March... went 7-for-23 with six RBIs, striking out just once in 26 plate appearances, in Big Ten home games... recorded 11 of his 20 RBIs in May... hit safely in all three games of the Indiana series... at Lipscomb (March 4-6): broke out of his early-season slump with a 3-for-5 effort in the series finale, scoring four times... at Tennessee-Martin (March 11-13): recorded two hits in each of the final two games of the series, driving in a run with a single in his final two at-bats of the game two comeback win... at Tennessee Tech (March 18-20): after starting the first two games of the series, had a big impact off the bench in the rubber game win; made an impressive running catch at the fence in the sixth inning and recorded two hits, highlighted by a three-run triple, in the eight-run ninth inning... at Butler (April 6): singled, walked and scored a run as the starting right fielder in the midweek win... at Northwestern (April 23-24): made his first start in Big Ten play in the middle game of the series after delivering a key pinch-hit double in the opener... Indiana (April 30-May 1): went 4-for-8 with three RBIs despite only starting the middle game of the series; led off the ninth inning with a pinch-hit singled and scored the game-tying run in the opener... at Michigan State (May 6-8): singled twice, walked and recorded three sacrifices (two flies, one bunt) while starting all three games... Ball State (May 11): singled, drew a bases-loaded walk and drove in another run after entering the game as a pinch hitter... Illinois-Chicago (May 17): doubled and drove in a pair of runs in the midweek finale... Iowa (May 19-21): delivered the big hit of the series, a bases-clearing triple that highlighted Purdue's five-run eighth inning in the opener... at Big Ten Tournament (May 25-27): started the first two games in right field, walking and scoring a run in the Penn State win and singling in his first two at-bats against Michigan State.

Two-time All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference outfielder at Hutchinson CC in Hutchinson, Kan. ... First Team All-KJCCC in 2009 after batting .380 ... helped Hutchinson finish third at the 2010 NJCAA Division I World Series as a Second Team All-Conference selection, batting .375 ... also a Second Team All-Region VI performer in 2009.
