Academic All-Big Ten... Williams pitched in 23 games, all in relief, to rank second on the team in appearances... recorded more strikeouts (29) than hits allowed (24) in 25 innings pitched... earned all three of his saves in Big Ten play, closing out wins against Iowa, Ohio State and Indiana.
