Ghiselli pitched in 19 games and started the midweek game at Indiana State... pitched at least four innings six times, including a career-high five innings of effective relief vs. Eastern Michigan and Northwestern... made 16 of his 19 appearances after March 19, sharing the team lead in appearances during that stretch... struck out four of the seven batters he faced over an inning and two-thirds of one-hit relief in the midweek game against IPFW in Kokomo... made at least one appearance in six of the eight Big Ten series... gave up only one earned run over at least four innings in outings against Ohio, Louisville, EMU, Northwestern and IPFW... pitched in eight of the 10 midweek games, recording a 3.47 ERA and .279 batting average against in a team-high 23 1/3 innings... made three appearances during Purdue's six-game April homestand, surrendering just one earned run and one walk over seven innings... elected to serve as vice president of the Boilermaker Athletic Council during the 2016-17 school year.
