Milazzo was a four-year letter-winner for coaches Joe May, Brad Geary, Scott Stahoviak and Dann Geisey at Carmel Catholic High School in suburban Chicago... batted over .400 in each of his four seasons while going 56 of 57 in stolen base attempts... helped lead Carmel to East Suburban Catholic Conference titles as senior and sophomore... all-conference and offensive player of the year as a senior after batting .412... posted a .610 on-base percentage thanks to a .565 batting average as a junior... stole 17 bases as a sophomore while hitting .432... wrestled as a freshman and took third place at the conference championships... four-year honor roll student graduated with a 3.7 GPA... two-time athletic scholar and quarterly math award winner as an upperclassman.
