Support Staff
Lisa Perry joined the John Purdue Club in 2010 as account clerk and was named operations assistant in August of 2011. She serves as an administrative assistant to Nancy Cross, and her primary responsibilities include the day-to-day operations of the John Purdue Club, helping Nancy with special events and serving as office manager. Lisa has worked at Purdue for more than 10 years, serving as account clerk in both the student services business office and the Intercollegiate Athletics business office. She lives in Delphi with her husband, Mike, and son, Jarek.
Nancy Calahan joined the John Purdue Club staff in 2004 as a secretary. Her primary responsibilities include management of the membership database/records, providing administrative support to multiple assistant directors and coordinating communications with endowers of scholarships as to their recipients for the annual endowment luncheon. Prior to joining the John Purdue Club, Nancy worked with the Marriage and Family Therapy Center and the Purdue Child Care Program, both in the Child Development and Family Studies Department. She spent 10 years as the director of Village Nursery School, a large preschool in West Lafayette. Nancy holds a degree in education from Iowa State University. She has four children, all Purdue graduates. Nancy and her husband, Chuck, a professor of family studies, reside in West Lafayette.
Erin Hancock joined the John Purdue Club in July of 2012 as a secretary. Her primary duties include serving as the first point of contact for donors and potential donors as well as providing clerical/administrative support for the John Purdue Club staff. She previously worked in the admissions office and came to Purdue in 2011 after working as a contracting coordinator for Lafayette Life Insurance Company for six years. She resides in Lafayette.
Kim Harris joined the John Purdue Club in October of 2011 as a secretary for Rita Zawisza and Chris Clopton. She previously worked in the Boilermaker football recruiting office. Her primary duties include helping Chris and Rita with various special projects and assisting others with day-to-day operations. Kim came to Purdue in March of 2011after working for the Tippecanoe School Corporation for six years. She lives in Lafayette with her husband, Kevin, and their three daughters: Allie, Whitney and Lexi.
