The "Darrell Hazell Show" - hosted by Tim Newton - airs every Thursday from Aug. 28 through Nov. 27, with the exception of Oct. 23 and Nov. 13. The final show of the season will be Wednesday, Nov. 26, as Thanksgiving falls on Nov. 27. The show, which originates from Buffalo Wild Wings on Brown Street in West Lafayette, is broadcast from 6 to 7 p.m. ET on the Purdue Sports Network and online. The Downtown Gridiron Club will hold 11 Wednesday luncheons this season - Sept. 10, 17 and 24; Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 29; Nov. 5, 19 and 26; and Dec. 17 - at The Outpost (2501 Old U.S. 231 South in Lafayette). The doors open at 11 a.m., with the previous game film running until Coach Hazell addresses the crowd at noon. He will review a handful of plays from the previous game and then give a preview of the upcoming game. Questions are welcomed and encouraged. A season ticket is $175 and includes an exclusive season-opening evening event at the Mollenkopf Athletic Center on the Purdue campus. Members are invited to join Hazell and his staff from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 27 for refreshments, a cash bar and tour of the football facilities. WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue football will host Kids Day on Saturday, Aug. 16, at Ross-Ade Stadium.

The Boilermakers, under second-year head coach Darrell Hazell, will conduct an open scrimmage beginning at 11:15 a.m.

Afterwards, fans of all ages are invited onto the field to take pictures with and get autographs from the players and coaches. A limited number of kid-themed activities will take place on the field, as well.

If the new South End Zone Patio is available for use, there may be some games set up to play like corn hole and ladder golf.

The Athletics Ticket Office will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to purchase tickets and for kids to join the Boilermaker Kids Club.

The Boilermakers open the season Aug. 30, against Western Michigan at Ross-Ade Stadium. Their other home dates are Sept. 6 vs. Central Michigan, Sept. 20 vs. Southern Illinois, Sept. 27 vs. Iowa, Oct. 11 vs. Michigan State, Nov. 8 vs. Wisconsin and Nov. 22 vs. Northwestern.
