WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue head football coach Danny Hope will make a two-day stop in the state of Texas later this month.
Hope will be in Houston on Friday, May 20, and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex on Saturday, May 21.
The Houston event will be held at the Houston Engineering and Scientific Society Club, 5430 Westheimer Road. It will start with social time at 6:30 p.m. CT, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.

The Dallas/Fort Worth event will be held at Hard Eight Barbeque, 688 Freeport Parkway in Coppell, Texas. It will get under way with social time at noon CT, followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.

The registration deadline for both events is May 13.
Hope is preparing to enter this third season as head coach of the Boilermakers. He has extensive recruiting contacts in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, dating to his tenure as an assistant coach at Purdue from 1997 to 2001.
The Boilermakers currently have eight Texas natives of their roster, with a ninth set to join the team this fall.
