Purdue fans and residents of the Lafayette-West Lafayette area will have two great opportunities to connect with Purdue All-American and current NFL star Ryan Kerrigan on Friday, May 9.
Kerrigan will be at Purdue that entire Friday, beginning with the "Community Makers Breakfast: Fore A Cause" at 8 a.m. in the Kissell Center in Ross-Ade Stadium, where Ryan will be part of a program emphasizing scholarships and achievements among students. The breakfast is open to the public, but advanced reservations are required. (See flyer above to register.)
The day will continue with the annual Ryan Kerrigan 12th Boiler Golf Outing, which has sponsorship opportunities and general public spaces available for foursomes and individual golfers. The 18-hole scramble begins at 10:30 a.m., featuring several Purdue "celebrities" and including lunch on the course and prizes, followed by a reception and dinner at Bruno's Restaurant.
Proceeds from both parts of the day will go toward scholarships. The events are sponsored jointly by Purdue's Trademarks Licensing Office through the National Football Foundation's Joe Tiller Chapter of Northwest Indiana, which is a 501 c-3 foundation.
