Men's Cross Country Earns Fourth Straight Academic Honor

The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its men's All-Academic teams list on Wednesday morning and the Purdue men were among the 147 teams selected. It is the fourth consecutive year the men have earned the award.

This past weekend, Purdue University was represented very well at the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials. Purdue alums and record holders Donnie Fellows and Laura Farley each competed in the final Olympic Trial marathon, after qualifying for the final trial earlier in the year.

The Great Lakes Cross Country Regional took place on Saturday afternoon at the Ottawa Park Golf Course in Toledo, Ohio, and the Purdue men finished 10th and the women 14th.
