2011:Started the season the IPFW Invitational with a finishing time of 25:27.79 second overall and helping the team finish first overall; on Oct. 1 at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic finished with a time of 24:22.16; at the Adidas Elite Invitational finished with a time of 25:31; finished with a time of 24:15 at the Big Ten Championships on Oct. 30; at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional finished with a time of 32:13.3.
2010: Opened the season with a second place finish at the IPFW Invitational (9/11) with a time of 24:27.01; finished second on the team and eighth overall at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships (9/17) with a time of 24:55.70; placed 40th overall and second on the team at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational (10/2) with a career-best 8K time of 24:19.40; took the top spot on the team and 51st overall with a time of 24:27.60 at the Pre-National Invitational (10/16); finished 51st at the Big Ten Championships (10/31) with a time of 24:57.80; finished first on the team and 17th overall at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional 10K with a career-best time of 30:42.65; time of 24:55.70 at is good for the second best Purdue time in Purdue Varsity Cross Country Course history (built in 2001).
2009:Kicked off his collegiate career with an 11th-place 8K effort at the Great American Legends race (9/4), turning in Purdue's No. 5 time at 27:19.48; cut over a minute off his career-best 8K time at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships (9/18), finishing 31st overall with a time of 26:18.7; lowered his career-best 8K for the third straight race at the Greater Louisville Classic (10/3), crossing the line in 25:44.11; scored the Boilermakers' No. 5 time at the Gibson Family Invitational (10/10), completing the 8K in 26:41.9; finished 15th overall at the Sam Bell Invitational (10/17), running 26:22.05 for 8K; placed third for the Boilers at the Big Ten Championships (11/1) with an 8K time of 27:30.4; finished his first collegiate 10K race in 101st place at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional (11/14), running the 10K in 33:36.46.
High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner in cross country and track and field at Mentor High School; holds the Mentor school record in the cross country 5K with a time of 15:39.00; three-time Ohio high school state cross country championships qualifier, placing ninth individually as a senior, earning all-state honors; two-time Mentor Cross Country and Track and Field athlete of the year; won the district championship in the 3,200-meter run as a junior and senior, advancing to the Ohio high school track and field championships as a senior; clocked four personal track and field records as a senior, running 9:27 in the 3,200-meter run, 4:26 in the 1,600-meter run, 1:58 in the 800-meter run and 53.0 in the 400-meter dash.
