2009: Completed Purdue's home 8K course in 27:22.80 to finish 12th overall and seventh on the team at the season-opening Great American Legends (9/4); clocked one of the best times of his career for 8K at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships (9/18), crossing the line fourth on the team in 26:11.8, good for 25th overall; posted an 8K mark of 25:34.92 at the Greater Louisville Classic; captured 17th place at the Gibson Family Invitational (10/10), completing the 8K course in 26:22.3; turned in the team's No. 4 time and finished 14th overall running 26:20.90 for 8K at the Sam Bell Invitational (10/17); finished third for the team, and 63rd overall, at the Big Ten Championships (11/1), finishing the 8K in 27:35.2; posted a career-best mark of 32:47.67 at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships (11/14), finishing second for the team.
2008: Participated in all six of the Boilermakers' collegiate races in his first season at Purdue, scoring twice; posted a top 8K time of 25:51.26 at the Auburn Tiger Invitational (10/4); scored at the Pre-National Invitational (10/18) and Big Ten Championships (11/2); crossed the line in 34:23.6 at his first career 10K race at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships (11/15); earned a varsity letter during the outdoor track and field season, qualifying for the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in the 1,500-meter run; his regional qualifier was the third-fastest 1,500-meter run time in school history at 3:47.48.
High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner in track and field and cross country at Northridge High School; three-time team MVP of the track and field team and MVP of the cross country team as a senior; two-time Indiana high school all-state honoree in cross country and track and field; helped his team to the 2004 Indiana high school state cross country championship.
