2014: Competed in three races ... finished fifth in the Indiana Intercollegiate three-mile Open Race with a time of 18.24.6 ... ran the 5k at the Belmont Opener with a time of 19.28.1 ... was the fourth finisher for Purdue in the ISU Pre-National 6k Open Race to help the team take third.
2012: Competed in 4 races over the course of the season; at the season kickoff meet on 8/31, the Crusader Open, she finished 23rd with a time of 19:34.9; competing in the Indiana Intercollegiates she ran a 20:01.6 while placing 13th in the opens race; at the Sean Earl Loyola Invite in Chicago, Ill. She placed 233rd with a time of 20:15; at the Hoosier Invite she ran a 19:51.41 and finished 14th.
High School: Four year letterwinner in track and cross country; two year letterwinner in basketball; all-NLC each year for cross country and track; Most Improved Player for cross country as a freshman; conference, sectional and regional champ in the 4x800m all four years; Rookie of the Year in track as a freshman; state medalist in the 4x800m as a sophomore; earned Coach's Award in cross country as a sophomore; scholar athlete as a sophomore; earned cross country Mental Toughness Award as a junior; academic honorable mention as a junior; academic all-state honorable mention as a senior; earned Max Truex Award for track in her final prep career.
Personal: Brooke Allyson Kline was born Nov. 29, 1993 to parents Steve and Kim Kline; is an only child; plans to major in large animal veterinary medicine; enjoys horseback riding for fun and competition in her free time.
