High School: Four year letterwinner in track; earned the team's Most Improved Award as a sophomore; earned the team's Mental Attitude Award as a junior and senior; lettered in cross country as a senior; team won track sectionals from 2008-11; went to high school with Purdue pole vaulter Katie Vierk.
Personal: Kelly Elizabeth Fields was born July 31, 1992 to parents Jim and Michele Fields; both parents attended Purdue; has two sisters Ann and Megan; sister Ann earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue; plans to major in biology; enjoys music, reading, and swimming.
