2014: Ran in six races, including the Big Tens and Great Lake Regional Championships ... finished first for Purdue in the three-mile race at the Indiana Intercollegiates with a time of 17.33.7 taking third place overall ... was Purdue's first 5k finisher with a time of 17.12.2 at the Notre Dame Invitational ... ran the ISU Pre-National Invitational 6k with a time of 22.42.6 ... competed in the 6k run at Big Ten Championships finishing with a time of 21.43.5 ... helped the team come in 10th at the Great Lakes Regional Championships by finishing fourth for Purdue with a time of 21.15.0 and 51st place individually.
2012: Competed in 4 races over the course of the season; at the season kickoff meet on 8/31, the Crusader Open, she finished 38th with a time of 20:31.8; competing in the Indiana Intercollegiates she ran a 19:45.4 while placing 8th in the opens race; at the Sean Earl Loyola Invite in Chicago, Ill. She placed 214th with a time of 20:04; at the Hoosier Invite she ran a 18:34.00and finished in 2nd.2012 Season
High School: Four year letterwinner in track and three for cross country; all-state in the 4x800m relay for indoor and outdoor as a freshman, junior, and senior; broke the school record in the 1600m as a freshman; all-region in cross country as a sophomore; re-broke the 1600m indoor record as a sophomore twice; voted team captain of cross country as a junior and senior; also track captain as a senior; broke school record in the 1600m as a junior and won the regional; also all-state in the event; all-state in the 1600m as a senior and won the regional; won the Kacee Cronk Scholarship.
Personal: Katherine Grace Hoevet was born Dec. 31, 1993 to parents Mike and Jo Hoevet; has one sister, Mallory; was born in Terre Haute, Ind.; plans to major in biomedical engineering; parents, grandparents, and uncle attended Purdue; enjoys reading and hanging out with friends and family.
