2010: Begun her junior season with a 19:54.80 5k at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships (9/17); clocked her season best 6k time at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational with a 22:56.2 and a team finish; ran for the Boilermakers at the Big Ten Championships (10/31) with a time of 23:04.1.
2009: Completed the Boilermakers' 5K home course in 19:24.30, just 10 seconds shy of her career best, to take seventh place at the Great American Legends (9/4); scored the team's No. 5 time at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships (9/18), completing the 5K course in a career-best 19:02.7; finished 26th overall at the Greater Louisville Classic (10/3) with a career-best 5K time of 18:12.04; led the Boilermakers to the Gibson Family Invitational (10/10) team title, finishing second overall with a 6K of 22:36.2; earned Purdue's first Big Ten Runner of the Week award in eight years, nabbing conference honors for Oct. 13; improved her top 6K mark for the second straight race at the Sam Bell Invitational (10/17), taking 10th individually in 22:34.56; turned in a career-best 6K time of 22:07 at the Big Ten Championships (11/1) and competed in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship (11/14), posting the team's No. 2 time (22:08.86) in 40th place.
2008: Ran in five of six varsity events in her first season with the Boilermakers; finished 10th overall in her first collegiate race, placing 10th at the Great American Legends (9/5) in 19:27.09; placed 19th overall and helped the Boilermakers to their second straight Indiana Intercollegiates (9/19) title; clocked a career-best 5K time of 18:39.76 at the Auburn Tiger Invitational (10/4); competed at the Big Ten Championships (11/2) and the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships (11/15).
High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner in cross country and three-year honoree in track and field at Zionsville Community High School; qualified for the Indiana high school state championships in the 3,200-meter run three times; holds the Zionsville Community school records in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs; named the track and field's most outstanding distance runner as a senior and most improved runner as a junior.
Personal: Kathleen Marie Conrad was born Dec. 23, 1989, in Indianapolis, Ind.; is the daughter of Rod and Pam Conrad; has one brother, Ryan; enjoys running, singing and reading; majoring in elementary education.
