2010: Begun her third season with a 5K time of 18:26.11, placing second overall at the Great American Legends (9/3); placed 11th on the team overall at the Indiana Intercollegiates (9/17), with a 5K time of 18:01.60, her season best 5k time; edged out her career best 6K at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational (10/2), finishing 57th overall and 56th team place with a time of 22:43.5; was the Boilermakers' second finisher at the Big Ten Championships (10/31) and third at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship (11/13).
2009: Opened her second season with a 5K time of 19:02.06, placing fifth overall and third on the team at the Great American Legends (9/4); placed fourth on the team and 14th overall at the Indiana Intercollegiates (9/18), clocking a 5K time of 18:44.5; ran a season-best 5K time of 18:09.07 to finish 23rd overall at the Greater Louisville Classic (10/3); edged out her career best 6K at the Gibson Family Invitational (10/10), finishing third overall with a time of 22:43.5; improved her top 6K mark for the second straight race at the Sam Bell Invitational (10/17), crossing the line 12th in 22:40.09; was the Boilermakers' fourth finisher at the Big Ten Championships (11/1) and NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship (11/14), recording her career-best 6K time of 22:09 at the Big Ten Championships.
2008: Competed in all six varsity races as a freshman, scoring in three; finished 13th overall at the Indiana Intercollegiates (9/19) with a 5K time of 19:02.00, helping the Boilermakers to a team championship; turned in a season-best 5K time of 17:59.54 at the Auburn Tiger Invitational (10/4); clocked a season-best 6K time of 22:47.00 at the Pre-National Invitational (10/18); was the Boilermakers' fourth finisher at the Big Ten Championships (11/2) and NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship (11/15).
High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner in track and field at Montour High School; qualified for the Pennsylvania high school state championships in cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field as a senior; six-time track and field team MVP.
Personal: Stephanie Leigh Bonk was born Aug. 10, 1990, in Pittsburgh, Pa.; is the daughter of Dan and Susan Bonk; has two sisters, Alyson and Emily; majoring in engineering.
