WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue track and field teams will send eight student-athletes to the Billy Hayes Invitational in Bloomington, Ind., for one final tune-up before the Big Ten Championships. Five men and three women will make the trip to Friday’s meet as finals week wraps up on Purdue's campus.
On the men’s side, Zach Saunders, Byron Ferrell, and Mitch Erickson will compete in the pole vault. Brandon Winters and Shane Mikesky are the other men making the trip for Purdue. Both will compete in the 110m high hurdles. For the women, Terri Anderson, Dani Bunch, and Breann Fife will make the roughly two hour trip. Anderson is scheduled to throw the discus. Bunch will throw the shot put while Fife will compete in the hammer throw.
