WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The USTFCCCA released its first regular-season Division I National Team Computer Rankings on Tuesday and the Purdue women earned their highest ranking in program history. The Boilermaker women are No. 14 in the country, the program’s best rank since the polls debuted in 2008.

The women improved on their preseason ranking of No. 17 in the country, which was the program’s best since 2008 when it was ranked No. 15 in the week one poll. The women’s best finish was No. 11 in the country in 1984, before there were weekly polls. The Boilermakers are one of just two Big Ten teams ranked in the top 25. Michigan is the highest-ranked team from the conference, as the Wolverines are ranked No. 12.

On the men’s side, the Boilermakers remained at No. 32 nationally. Five teams from the Big Ten are in the top 25, led by No. 4 Wisconsin. The men’s No. 32 ranking, as well as last week’s same rank, is the program’s best spot in the weekly polls since the week one poll of 2008 when they were ranked 25th. The men did finish 18th last season at the NCAA Championships.
