80 Boilermakers earn undergraduate degree
The women's 4x400m relay team ran the top time in the B1G this season.
Six Boilermakers competed on Thursday at the prestigious meet.
The Boilermakers will compete Friday and Saturday.
Nikki Nunn made it three long jump champions in the last for years for Purdue.
- Qualified for the Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 1,500m run.
- Ran a career best time of 1:54.49 in the 800m run at the Rankin/Poehlein Invitational, where he finished third.
2014: Competed in eight outdoor meets, including the Big Ten Championships; took second in the 1500m at the Texas State invitational; had a 12th-placed finish at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the 1500m with a time of 4:02.47; PR in the 1500m is set at 3:47.79.
2012: Placed second at the Purdue Invitational (1/7) in the 800-meter run; at the Boilermaker invite (2/18), crossed the line at 2:34.42 in the 1,000-meter run, good for a second place finish; finished 4th with a distance medley relay team at Hoosier Indoors (1/27); competed in the 800-meter run at the SEC/Big Ten Challenge (3/23) and the Purdue Dave Rankin Invitational (4/20-4/21), where he finished second.
High School: A four-time letterwinner for track and field and cross country; two-time swimming letterwinner; two-time Most Valuable Player for both cross country and track; as a senior was named team captain for both cross country and track; finished ninth at state in the 1600 as a senior; as a junior qualified for state in cross country and finished eighth in the 1600.
Personal: Tyler James Wynn was born January 5, 1993, in Goshen, Indiana; is the son of Mike ad Lee Wynn; has one sister, Jessica; plans to major in Biology.
