The Boilermakers have broken four school records in two days at Drake Relays.
2014: Participated in seven indoor meets, including the Big Ten Championships and competed in 10 outdoor meets, counting the Big Ten Championships, NCAA East Preliminary Round and NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships ... seven first-place finishes in the 4x400m running with teammates Aarin Jones, Kari Shoolbraid and Bre'Anna Smith ... eight top-10 finishes in the 400m ... best finish came at the Purdue/IU Duals and The Border Battle placing third ... finished 16th at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the 400m with a time of 55.88 ... placed eighth at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the 4x400m and qualified for The NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships ... placed 20th at the NCAA Championships with Aarin Jones, Kari Shoolbraid and Bre'Anna Smith finishing with a time of 3:37.67 ... PR in the 400m is recorded at 55.11.
2012: Took first in the 200 meter dash and the 400 meter dash at the Gene Edmunds Cup (1/21). Captured first at the Indiana University Dual Meet (1/14) and second at the Purdue Invitational (1/7) in the 400 meter dash. Member of the 4x400 meter relay team that took first at the Purdue Invitational and competed at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (2/25). Crossed the line at 25.14 in the 200 meter dash at the SEC/Big Ten Challenge (3/23) and finished tenth at the event in the 400 meter dash. Placed second at the Mike Poehlein Invitational (3/30-3/31) in the 400 meter dash.
High School:Four-year participant in track and volleyball at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Ind.; was in top 50 in high school class and finished in top 10% senior year; was All-State sophomore, junior and senior years; in junior year was 4x4 runner-up; senior year was Academic All-State and third at state in the 400.
Personal:Taylor Ailean Morrison was born June 30, 1992, in Indianapolis, Ind.; the daughter of Ramon Morrison and Pamela Lawrence; has one brother, Julian, and one sister, Renae; majoring in pre-veterinarian medicine/biology.
