2007: Earned a trip to the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in the discus in his first year of collegiate competition.

Won the 2007 Big Ten Outdoor Championship in the discus, marking a career-best 54.15 meters (177-08). Placed seventh in the hammer throw at the 2007 outdoor conference championships, shattering his previous career-best with a throw of 56.50 meters (185-04).
