The Boilermakers are set up for an exciting finish at the Big Ten Championships
Both Boilermakers have a mark that ranks in the top-two nationally
Andre Peart and Raheem Mostert won their heats on Thursday.
The Boilers have 28 entries for the three-day meet.
The Boilermakers will compete in Jacksonville, Fla., next weekend.
2012: Placed third in the long jump at the Meyo Invitational (2/4) and jumped 5.53 meters at the Big Ten Indoor Championships. Took first place in the long jump at the Mike Poehlein Invitational (3/30-3/31) and the Purdue Open (4/27-4/28). Jumped for ninth place at the SEC/Big Ten Challenge (3/23). Captured second at the Purdue Dave Rankin Invitational (4/20-4/21) with a jump of 5.57 meters.
High School:Four-year participant in indoor/outdoor track, three years in field hockey and one year in cross country at Manchester High School in Chesterfield, Va.; sophomore and junior years was indoor regional long jump champion; junior year was outdoor regional long jump champion and indoor triple jump regional champion; earned academic honors junior and senior years; senior year was second at NY Nationals and third at Nike Indoor Nationals; team won district 2007-2010 and regionals in 2007.
