Set career-bests in all of his individual events, competing in 14 varsity events, including the Big Ten Indoor and Outdoor Championships; clocked his top 400-meter dash time of 49.00 in the preliminaries at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (2/28); ran a top time of 53.93 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Georgia Spec Towns Invitational (4/11); was a member of the Boilermakers' top indoor and outdoor 4x400-meter relays teams, helping the squad to a seventh-place conference finish outdoors.

Scored at both the indoor and outdoor conference meets in his rookie campaign as part of a relay; ran the 400-meter leg of the distance medley relay at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (3/1), which placed third overall; helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a seventh-place showing at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships (5/18); clocked a top-time of 49.65 in the 400-meter dash.
