Donnie Fellows will help train distance runners as a volunteer assistant coach. He is in his first year in that role.
Fellows, a 2002 team captain, holds Purdue indoor records in the 3000m and 5000m and outdoor marks in the 5K and 10K.
In the 2001-02 outdoor season, Fellows was Big Ten Champion in the 10K and an NCAA qualifier in the 5K and 10K. Indoors, he was an NCAA qualifier in the 3000m and 5000m.
The Mercer Island, Wash., native graduated in May 2002 with a degree in computer science. He currently is working towards an MBA at Purdue?s Krannert School of Management. Additionally, he is training as a member of the Indiana Invaders Track and Field Club Team.
