Competed in eight indoor and two outdoor varsity meets; was top Boilermaker in the 60-meter and 100-meter dashes; set personal best time in 60-meter at Big Ten Championship (2/27) with time of 6.66; qualified for NCAA Indoor Championship for the 60-meter dash; set the Purdue school record in the 60-meter dash, winning a Big Ten Championship with his career best time.
Ran a season-best time of 6.73 in the 60-meter dash to win the event at the Indiana Invitational (1/17); competed in two other indoor varsity races for the Boilermakers, including the Big Ten Indoor Championships (2/28); participated in three outdoor events, clocking a collegiate-best time of 10.62 in the 100-meter dash at the Arizona State Invitational (3/28); scored in his first conference meet, capturing seventh place in the 100 at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships (5/17) with a time of 11.04 in the finals.
Provisionally qualified for the 2008 NCAA Indoor Championships and matched the Purdue school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.70 at the Big Ten/SEC Challenge.
Four-year varsity letterwinner at Winamac High School; won the Indiana State High School Championship in the 100-meter dash as a senior; took fourth in the 100-meter dash at the 2007 Pan American Junior Games in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and clocked a career-best time of 10.33 en route to a third-place showing at the USA Junior Championships; placed second in the 60-meter dash at the 2007 Nike Indoor National Championships.
