Track Heads to Sea Ray Relays

The Boilermakers will compete in the three-day event beginning on Thursday.

High School: Four-year track and field letterwinner ... two-time All-Ohio athlete ... three-time state qualifier ... 2012 Midwest Meet of Champions Shot Put Champion ... threw 48 feet, 7 inches as a freshman ... improved distance to 58'3" as a sophomore and won the conference with that throw ... finished state runner-up as a junior with a throw of 61'11" ... named Claude Christian Junior Athlete of the Year as a junior ... won indoor and outdoor State Championship as a senior in the shot put ... threw 67'7" which was the second best mark in the United States among prep competitors ... finished third in the state in the weight throw as a senior with a mark of 68'11" ... that distance broke the school record and regional record ... had the sixth-best throw all time at the Ohio State Meet ... was a Gatorade Player of the Year nominee as a senior ... won his league title all four years ... team won the conference all four years.
