2012:Took second at the Boilermaker Invite (2/18) and the Purdue Invitational (1/7) in the indoor 60-meter dash with times of 7.01 seconds and 7.02 seconds respectively. Placed first at the Alex Wilson Invitational (3/3) and the Boilermaker Invite in the 200-meter dash. Captured second in the same event at the Purdue Invitational. Earned first place three times in the outdoor 200-meter dash. Won the event at the Purdue Dave Rankin Invitational (4/20-4/21), Jesse Owens Track Classic (4/13-4/14), and the Mike Poehlein Invitational (3/30-3/31). Fastest season time was 21.41 seconds. Placed second with a season-fastest time of 10.79 seconds in the 100-meter dash at the Jesse Owens Track Classic.
High School: Was a four year letterwinner on the varsity track and field team ... also earned three letters as a member of the varsity soccer team ... qualified for the Ohio High School State Championships during his junior and senior seasons ... finished fifth in the state his junior year ... despite injury his senior year, took sixth his senior year ... anchor of the school's 4x200 team that finished eighth at the state championships during his junior year ... that team set a district record during his junior year.
