2014: Second Team All-America honors; Purdue's first male Big Ten Outdoor Champion since 2011; moved to third place on Purdue's record and broke the Nigerian national record of 66.92m (219-7.00) in the USC Trojan Invite in the hammer throw with a mark of 67.31m (220-10.00); and then broke Purdue school record in the hammer throw during the Drake Relays; placed 11th at NCAA Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw marking 64.26m (210-10); came in first in hammer throw with 66.22m (217-3.00) at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships; finished second in shot put with a mark of 19.38m (63-7.00) at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, which set a new personal best; placed second at the Drake Relays in the hammer, throwing a PR of 68.53m (224-10.00); threw a 68.41m (224-5.00) in the Kentucky Relays (College Division) hammer throw; also threw a 68.41m (224-5.00) in the hammer throw in the Kentucky Relays to finish first; in the NCAA Indoor Championships placed third in weight throw with a mark of 22.49m (73-09.50); placed 13th in the shot put in the NCAA Indoor Championships with a mark of 18.17m (59-7.50); took third at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in the shot put with a mark of 19.05m (62-6.00); threw a 22.45m (73-8.00) to finish first at the Gladstein Invitational; finished first in the Findlay Open in the 35-pound weight throw with a mark of 23.62m (77-6.00).

2012: Did not compete while redshirting.
High School: Three-time varsity letterwinner for track and field; as a senior was the USATF Youth National Champion for shot put, was the U.S. number one for the weight throw with a mark of 75 feet and 8 inches; as a junior was section champion for shot put and the discus; as a sophomore won the city champion two times.
Personal: Chukwuebuka Cornnell Enekwechi was born January 28, 1993, in Queens, New York; is the son of Christian and Christiana Enekwechi; has two brothers Chris and Chisom, and one sister Diamond; plans to major in Health and Human Sciences.
