2014: Competed in five indoor meets, including the Big Ten Championships, and three outdoor meets, including the Big Ten Championships ... took 13th at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with a pole vault of 15' 11.25"... finished second at the Meyo Invitational and the 2014 Fred Wilt Boilermaker Invitational ... his personal record is 5.11m which came at the Fred Wilt Boilermaker Invitational.
2012: Jumped 16'2'' at the Boilermaker Invite (2/18), good for first place. At the Purdue Invitational (1/7), placed second with a jump of 16'4''. Season best jump was recorded at 16'5'' during the Meyo Invitational (2/4).
Competed in seven outdoor and seven indoor varsity meets; best indoor mark was 4.95m/16-02.75 at the GVSU Big Meet (2/12); tied for eighth with teammate Chris Thoman at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (2/28); best outdoor height was 5.00m/16-04.75 at Big Ten Championships (5/14), good for fifth place in the conference; qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds (5/27).
Four-year varsity letterwinner in track and field at Penn High School, also won three letters in cross country; two-time Indiana State High School Championship qualifier, taking fourth place as a senior; placed seventh in the decathlon at the AAU Junior Olympics; was named a team captain as a senior.
Kyle Robert Campbell was born Dec. 4, 1990, in Adana, Turkey; is the son of Craig Campbell and Emili Zahner; has four brothers: Andrew and Hunter Campbell, and Trey and Tye Zahner, and two sisters, Laken and Eva Campbell; majoring in pharmacy.
