Provisionally qualified for the indoor national championships in the shot put and qualified for the NCAA East Region Preliminary Rounds in the shot put and discus; placed fourth in the shot put at the Big Ten Women's Indoor Championships with an indoor career best throw of 15.52 meters (50-11.00), good for third all-time indoors at Purdue; captured a pair of bronze medals at the outdoor conference meet, taking third in the shot put and discus, marking a career-best 15.66 meters (51-04.50) in the shot put, earning the No. 4 spot all-time outdoors at Purdue; hurled a career-best 52.99 meters (173-10) in the discus at the Jesse Owens Track Classic, good for second all-time at Purdue.

2009 (FRESHMAN)
Qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in the shot put and discus, placing eighth in the discus with a career-best throw of 50.52 meters (165-09); placed in the shot put and discus at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, tossing a career-best 15.58 meters (51-01.50) in the shot to take third and earning fourth in the discus; ranks fourth in Purdue's outdoor history in the shot put and fifth in the discus; took home sixth at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in the shot put, marking 14.38 meters (47-02.25).

HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letter winner in track and field at Campus High School; two-time Kansas state high school champion in the discus, setting the state record as a junior with a throw is 156-11; placed second as a sophomore and third as a freshman; earned in the shot put at the state championships three times, with a high placing of third as junior; also participated in volleyball, basketball and bowling, winning a sub-state championship in volleyball as a senior.
