    Seventy-One Boilermakers Named Academic All-Big Ten
    Sixty-nine Purdue student-athletes received Academic All-Big Ten recognition from the conference on Wednesday afternoon. The number eclipses last fall's total of 64 and 2012's total of 46. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners in at least their second year at their institution and carry a grade-point average of at least 3.0. (more)

    Davis, Mosier Earn B1G Postgraduate Scholarships
    The Big Ten Conference office announced its annual postgraduate scholarship recipients on Thursday. Two student-athletes from each of the 12 Big Ten institutions who plan to continue their education at a graduate degree program were awarded a $7,500 scholarship, based on primarily academic achievements.     Bissett Named Academic All-District for Second Year in a Row
    For his dual excellence in the diving well and the classroom, Jamie Bissett of Purdue men's swimming and diving has been selected as a Capital One Academic All-District honoree for the second year in a row. (more)

    A Players For Spring Semester Announced
    Grades for the spring were released on Wednesday and 47 members of the Purdue football program met head coach Darrell Hazell's decree of "A Players Must Get A's" by earning a 3.0 grade-point average or better for the semester. The team had 40 'A Players" in the fall. (more)

    Boilermakers Continue High APR, GSR Marks
    The NCAA announced today that for the third consecutive year all 20 Purdue teams (indoor and outdoor track and field are counted separately) are above the 930 Academic Progress Rate (APR) cutoff. (more)

    Purdue Selects Six Student-Athlete Interns
    The Purdue Athletics Department has selected six student-athletes to serve as interns in various areas this summer. The first-year internship program, coordinated by academic support services advisor Laura Schnell, aims to provide student-athletes real-world experience working within a university athletics department and help them in their desired career paths.
