The Bimel Outdoor Practice Complex, named in 2012, which features two lighted 100-yard fields - one Bermuda grass to match the surface in Ross-Ade Stadium and one FieldTurf - was built in 2009 as part of the Mackey Complex project and resides north of the Mollenkopf Athletic Center. The facility serves as the primary practice fields for the Purdue football program and a spacious area for workouts with the sports performance staff.
