Boilers Name Shandrick as Head Equipment Manager

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue Athletic Director Morgan Burke has announced the hiring of Michael Shandrick as Head Equipment Manager. He replaces Terry Schlatter who filled the position for 10 years before accepting a job at Wisconsin. A native of Bethel Park, Pa.,

Mike was previously employed for nine years as the Director of Athletic Equipment at Ohio University where he received a bachelor's degree in public administration in 1986. He has also worked at Michigan State University where he received a master's degree in 1988 in health and physical education with an emphasis in athletic administration. Mike, 33, and his wife, Lori, have seven-year-old twins, Cory and Caitlin, and a nine-month-old daughter, Maggie. Mike joined the Purdue staff in early December, following the conclusion of the Bobcats' football season.
