Barb Kapp

Position: Associate Athletics Director

Barb Kapp was promoted to associate athletics director in July of 2006. She oversees information technology, the Athletic Ticket Office systems, and works with the business office on marketing and promotions agreements.

Kapp previously served as assistant athletics director (2003-06), associate business manager (2001-03) and computing and network services consultant (1994-2001).

Prior to joining the Purdue staff, Kapp worked as an account analyst for Inland Steel Company in East Chicago, Ind. for 13 years.

A native of Hammond, Ind., Kapp earned her bachelor's degree in industrial management with minors in accounting and finance from Purdue in 1979 and her master's degree from Purdue in 2005.

Barb and her husband, Greg, have two sons, Matthew and Chris.
