Nicodemus Christopher was hired as a sports performance assistant in May of 2011. He will lead the sports performance programs for softball and track and field, and assist with men's basketball.
Christopher previously served as the assistant sports performance coach at Accelerate Performance Enhancement Center in Tyler, Texas, and a sports performance coach at the Michael Johnson Performance Center in Dallas. He also was a sports performance assistant at Stanford University.
Christopher received a bachelor's degree in health and human performance from Baylor University and a master's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis on biomechanics and anatomical kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler. While working towards his master's, Christopher served as an instructor of biomechanics and biokinesiology and an instructor for beginning and advanced students in weight training.
Christopher is a USAW Sports Performance coach.
