Christian Floirendo joined the Purdue sports medicine staff in July of 2017. His primary responsibilities are cross country and track & field.
Prior to coming to Purdue, Floirendo was a graduate assistant at the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center, where he worked with the men's lacrosse, men's rugby and volleyball teams. In addition to working at the recreation center, he was involved with the sports medicine staff in the athletics department, working with various teams, including, football, basketball, and swimming & diving.
Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Floirendo received a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from Florida Southern College. While at Florida Southern, he was a student intern at Colorado State University, working with the football team in the fall of 2014. In between his sophomore and junior year at Florida Southern, Floirendo completed a summer internship with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League.
