WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University Intercollegiate Athletics today announced the launch of its official online photo store in conjunction with CBS Interactive.
The store, powered by Brand Affinity Technologies' (BAT) photo business, Printroom.com, offers photos from current sporting events taken by school photographers and the Associated Press, archived photos from previous seasons and iconic images that capture the essence of Purdue. Customers can purchase these photos as prints, framed prints, custom diploma frames, mounted canvas and more.
In the future, Purdue can enable a feature that allows fans to upload their own photos and create unique custom photos that can be printed on officially licensed Purdue products. Additionally, the school can elect to integrate a fan photography program to enhance event revenues, branding reach, fan experience, and community building. BAT photographers would take fan photos at collegiate sporting events and make those images available at the school's online photo store for purchase, digital download and social media sharing.
In support of the launch of its new photo store, Purdue is offering a 20-percent-off promotion through Dec. 15, 2012. Former Boilermaker and current New Orleans Saints standout quarterback Drew Brees has teamed up with Purdue to support and promote the launch of this new online photo store.
