Fifty-eight Purdue student-athletes received Academic All-Big Ten honors, announced today by the conference office.

The baseball team led all spring sports with 11 honorees. Track athlete Anne King and softball player Erika Peterson topped the list with a perfect GPA.

A total of 942 student ahtletes met the criteria of being at least a second year student at the institution and carrying a minimum grade-point average of 3.0. This total was the highest spring total in the last 11 years. Overall, the Big Ten Conference has recognized 1,951 Academic All-Big Ten honorees during the 2004-05 academic year.
