Help Rhonda during lunch
  • Rhonda is a blind woman who works at Ford Dining Hall and needs assistance getting her lunch. The student-athlete can choose one day a week to go to Ford Hall from 10:20-10:50 and help assist Rhonda during her lunch break.
I.M.P.A.C.T.
  • Mentor elementary school children during their lunch and recess break at Happy Hollow one day a week.
  • Help the students get active during their recess break from 11:30-1:00 throughout the week at Glen Acres and Murdock Elementary Schools.
  • Pen Pals- Become a pen pal with an elementary school kid.
  • Shoes for Haiti- donate an old pair of shoes to young children in Haiti.
Boiler-Maker-Wish
  • Purdue Athletes have started a new program at Purdue called Boiler-Maker-Wish. This program is aimed towards providing kids who have moderate to severe physical or life threatening disabilities with the opportunity to hang out with some athletes at Purdue for a day!
Adopt a Kid to Your Team
  • Team IMPACT is a nonprofit organization that looks to create and expand vibrant team based support systems for children facing life threatening and chronic illnesses. Go to www.goteamimpact.org for more information on the program and how your team can help.
Beckon Academy Senior Project-Starting January 13th
  • A senior at Beckon Academy needs help with a thesis project. He wants to start a program called "Sports Club" that allows students to play various sports after school.
  • A student-athlete is needed every Monday and Wednesday from 3:00-4:00 pm to participate in various sporting events with the student. (It's like helping instruct a P.E. class)
