Former Purdue star Chris Kramer is heading to Puerto Rico to join the Guaynabo Mets for the stretch run of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional league.

The Huntington, Ind., native will join the Mets for Wednesday's regular-season finale, and stay with the team for the duration of its playoff run. The Mets sit in third place in the 10-team BSN heading into Wednesday's tilt with seventh-place Humacao.

Kramer will join three Americans on the Mets' roster: Shaun Pruitt (Illinois), Terrence Leather (South Florida) and Jelani McCoy (UCLA). Former Virginia Tech player A.D. Vasallo, a native Puerto Rican, also plays for Guaynabo.
